they are so lucky they didn't get busted for that. Rangers usually have the coastal areas/trails pretty locked down most of the time, at least in NorCal they do.

it all depends on the winter. last year we had about a 3 week break in snow and it melted off the trail. But all the old timers in the area are calling for a heavy winter. we would have to see later on in the year
